Graduates from the Saturday Scholarship Program are invited to audition for our Youth Dance Company. This group of approximately fourteen couples performs at various public and private events, and represents our program in an entertainment setting. Rehearsals are planned on an as-needed basis depending on event schedule.
The Youth Dance Company provides students with the opportunity to showcase their abilities on a public stage, to gain exposure before an audience, and to work in conjunction with their partners and friends in a concert setting.
Past performances have included WNBC’s Today Show, the Kennedy Center 35th Anniversary Show, the New York Restoration Project headed by Bette Midler, and WABC’s Good Morning America.
